March 8, 2021 is International Women's Day. This year, restore a trafficking survivor's life and help them reach their full potential.

Stand up for survivors and change a life today.

With your support, we can empower survivors of exploitation, trafficking and violence. Your generosity helps survivors graduate from high school and find sustainable jobs.

Nina's Journey to Empowerment

Lyn's Story of Resilience

As a teen, Lyn’s high school days should have been spent with good friends and hopes for the future. Instead, she was trafficked for sex.

Thankfully, Lyn was able to escape her exploiters and found 10ThousandWindows with the help of a local aftercare shelter. With the support of her counselor and social worker, Lyn started on her journey to recovery and lasting freedom, starting with getting her high school diploma.

Next, her career counselor empowered her to stretch beyond her comfort zone and to apply for positions she dreamed of having. Her hard work paid off as Lyn was offered a data entry position — a safe, sustainable job — at a business company.

When survivors of human trafficking are provided counseling support and proper workplace training, they are able to flourish and attain real jobs.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, individuals like Lyn are able to reclaim their lives and break free from the evil cycle of exploitation once and for all.
